Take ownership of your finances

Together, we’ll map out the bigger picture so you can feel confident in your financial security post-divorce.

Jane McAuliffe

Hello, I’m Jane McAuliffe, CDFA® (Certified Divorce Financial Analyst). I’m a Partner and Senior Financial Advisor with Axis Wealth Partners and Founder and CEO of Collaborative Divorce Strategies, a Divorce Financial Planning and Mediation firm.

In 2017, I launched this company to combine my professional expertise, my personal experience going through a divorce, and my passion for helping people find alignment by planning in advance for all of life’s circumstances.

I believe taking an active role in personal finances can make you feel confident and empowered to make sound financial decisions. Using objective, unbiased advice, I’ll help you avoid the fallout that can ensue during and after your divorce. Together, we’ll focus on saving what you need and managing your investments wisely.

During your divorce, I’ll collaborate with your “divorce team” (attorney, mediator, CPA, mortgage lender), providing an organized picture of the marital estate. Post-divorce, I can help by overseeing the division of assets and recommending tax strategies, risk and tax planning, investing, and budgeting for your new lifestyle.

If you’re mediating, I can help with creative settlement scenarios to help with getting to a resolution.

My expertise centers on analyzing creative settlement strategies, forensic asset tracing, and adequately planning for your post-divorce lifestyle. I can provide insight into goal and risk planning, establishing lifestyle budgets, and structuring cost-effective portfolios to help you reach your financial goals.

I am a graduate of Bryant University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Management, and am a former Chair and Board Member of the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA), former Board Member of the Financial Planning Association of RI (FPARI) and former Board Member of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).   I am a regular speaker at the IDFA Annual Conference as well as at the Rhode Island Bar Association, where I have had the opportunity to educate other CDFA and Family Law Attorneys on various financial matters related to divorces such as Lifestyle Tracing and Analysis, Cryptocurrency and Divorce, Division of Retirement Assets, Executive Compensation and Division in Divorce, Obstacles and Options for Divorcing over age 50 and providing Expert Witness Testimony.  I have also hosted sessions at Bryant University’s 20th & and 21st Anniversary Women’s Summit on Financial Planning and Investing.
